Are Zeolite Nanoparticles Safe?
Health library / Nanoparticles & Zeolite
Someone asked about zeolite nanoparticle safety in a very technical manner, so I thought I would take the opportunity to give more insight into just how safe and effective PBX zeolite is.
⚠️ What I write here does NOT apply to all zeolite, because most are inherently unsafe. Like everything else, quality is extremely important.
"Maybe you can help me understand the excretion aspect of this nanosized zeolite: I understand that due to its size, it can penetrate very well inside the body. My question is more about the assurance that it does leave the body..."
"I keep reading that it is safe because zeolites are deemed safe by several studies, but those studies have only tested macro sized particles which do not cross the intestinal barrier..."
Yes, the studies show that the zeolite leaves the body. It can be seen in urine and stool analysis by individual testing.
Most importantly, my clients (using PBX) come back with many different kinds of test results showing that the heavy metals have left their body. The only way those heavy metal ions can leave is via transport in a zeolite cage; otherwise they would bind to something else on the way out (precisely why chelation is so difficult... and zeolite is not chelation).
Every kind of test will show this impact. That is the best confirmation I could ever give you.
For nanoparticles, most studies focus on micron size ranges; however, many include zeolites in the nanometer range, highlighting that smaller sizes are most effective.
Averages around 400 nanometers. Like taking the cream off the top of the milk from the best TMAZ products.
Average of less than 2nm – the pinnacle of zeolite. You've reached the limit of atomic size for a clinoptilolite zeolite cage structure.
Test results (Zetasizer) confirm PBX size unquestionably. The cage structure is confirmed by X-Ray Diffraction analysis, and chemical analysis confirms the safe constituents filling the cages.
These structures are indestructible in the human body – they cannot be changed into anything that will chemically bond. This is not true for all zeolites, so I only trust PBX and PB because of all the testing on their public website.
Public test data is very important because anyone can send data privately and it can be a lie. While other clinoptilolites would also be inert, they can be polluted with toxins.
2Zeolite has a very strong negative charge. Nearly all toxins are positively charged – which is why toxins bind and interfere, and why zeolite grabs them but does not bind in our body.
There are no chemical reactions occurring – it's an electrostatic (ionic) bond without electron transfer. For example, activated charcoal uses a carbon bond, but zeolite uses only electrostatic charge. Zeolite can only grab ions and cannot 'rip' mercury from amalgam fillings, but will grab any free mercury ions.
3Water moves in and out and around PBX effortlessly. When you compare zeolite to bentonite clay, the differences are remarkable. Their chemical compositions are nearly identical, but clay has a very complex hydration reaction with water, while zeolite remains unaffected. Zeolite cannot be trapped by water.
4The general definition of a nanoparticle is anything less than 100 nanometers. You can fit millions of atoms within such small spaces, meaning very large complex molecules are still nanoparticles.
Many of us are malnourished even when flooding our bodies with synthetic vitamins and minerals – tons of nanoparticles that simply pass right through because they're not bioavailable. We do have many nanoparticles trapped in our body with no way to remove them... except for nano zeolite.
Colloidal silver (CS) also doesn't stay in the body and works on a similar cycle. CS nanoparticles tend to be mostly between the size of PBX and PB, though some are the size of PBX.
I have been studying CS for about twenty years, and over that time I have never seen any toxicity issues with good CS products. Over the same time, I have been attacking bad CS and zeolite products, because there are countless scams out there.
The only nano zeolite products I trust and recommend:
